Accounting

The Accounting system within MARS offers many new features such as drill down viewing from the financial reports all the way to the actual entry. All reports are available with both display and print options. Reports can be run for any date range including all past periods.

MARS includes the ability to set up multiple profit centers within the agency.

Client Accounting

Any activity involving a client is entered from the Client Profile.

Invoicing
Agency Bill Invoicing is a function from the policy master. That means the policy record must be added first. Invoicing will be automatic as all the data entered for the policy automatically flows to the invoice. Direct Bill Processing also requires the policy record to be entered first.

All accounting entries are simplified in that there are no account numbers to memorize.

Recurring Entries can include checks, money received, and other journal entry transactions. Recurring entries for checks can be set to automatically process on a selected frequency and date.
 

All Financial data can be displayed or printed. When displaying financial statements, you have a drill down capability to see the actual entries making up the balance shown on the report. This display can even go one step further in the drill down to see the actual journal entries for each line item.
   

 
Financial Reports are available forever. All historical data is maintained in the system allowing you to look at reports back to day one on your MARS system.

The Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and Profit/Loss Statements can be exported to Microsoft Excel.

Financial data can be reviewed in pie or bar graphs or text layouts and can be seen for any date range including all past periods. Bar graphs are used to show data over a period of time.
